"Legion" is a Soviet and Russian metal band playing in the styles of heavy metal, neoclassical metal and power metal. It is one of the first metal bands in the USSR. The founder of the band is Oleg Tsarev. In 1981, he was joined by Alexey Bulgakov, who became the main composer and vocalist. The official year of the band's foundation is considered to be 1982, when it gave its first concert.
