Torben Klein (born April 9, 1976, in Würselen) is a German singer, bassist, and composer. He made a name for himself as a singer and composer for the Cologne bands Boore and Räuber. Since 2019, he has primarily been active as a solo artist. Torben Klein began his musical career in his youth. Among other things, he was already the singer of a cover band at the age of 14. At 19, he joined the German-language boy band Verliebte Jungs (Boys in Love), who won the ZDF Hitparade with "Willst du meine Kinder kriegen" (Do You Want to Have My Children). Afterward, he worked as a solo artist. He also collaborated with various artists such as Ireen Sheer, Wolfgang Petry, Uwe Hübner, and DJ Ötzi. In 2008, he joined the traditional Cologne carnival band Boore as a bassist, for whom he was active as a singer until 2012. He then moved to Räuber, where he was active as both a bassist and singer. He wrote, among other songs, their hit "Für die Iwigkeit" (For Eternity).
