Werner Schmidbauer (born August 24, 1961, in Munich, Germany) is a renowned German musician, singer-songwriter, and television presenter. He is best known for his performances in the Bavarian Liedermacher (artist's song) style. He has collaborated extensively with multi-instrumentalist Martin Kälberer and also performed in a trio with Italian singer Pippo Pollina as part of the project "Süden."
